Picture this: it's cold rainy and windy. You're freezing and need something hot for your belly. In the gloom you spot a beacon of light. A bastion of refuge. It is the Whyalla Waves Cafe. We had an amazing experience here, the food is sensational, well priced and well above value. The cooking was phenomenal genuinely cannot express how delicious the carbonara was AND the avocado on toast AND the chocolate banana muffins. Our order was waylaid by some technological difficulties (battery on the buzzer went out so we were waiting on one meal for a small delay) but the chef and team offered to rectify the issue and cook our meal from scratch. The additional muffin as compensation was also a nice treat. Seriously we were already stoked about this place beforehand but even as tourists to Whyalla we will find an excuse to come back - just for this cafe. Thanks to all the team.
